Mildred Maxcine McMillen, 87, passed away Sunday, July 01, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was born September 12, 1930, in Union County to Clarence A. and Ruby Kelly Bramlett. She was married to Julius McMillen for 43 years and they traveled the world during his time of service for the United States Air Force. Upon his retirement they owned and operated McMillen Furniture and Appliance for many years. After closing their own store, she went to work for WalMart for many years until her own retirement in 1994. She was a faithful member of Calvary Methodist Church in New Albany belonging to several clubs over the years.

She is survived by daughter Vickie L. Chism, and son David A. McMillen; Granddaughters, Bridget Chism Hamblin (Tony) and Heather C. McMillen; Great Grandchildren, Chancelor C. Hamblin and Zoee A. Hamblin. She also had many special nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and sister Annie Mae Bond.

Pallbearers will be Chance Hamblin, Steve Todd, Larry Todd, Wayne Callicutt, J.W. (Jimmy) Callicutt III, and Larry Miller.

Services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, July 03, 2018 at United Funeral Services with Bro. Ricky Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Ingomar Cemetery. United Funeral Services is in charge of the of the arrangements.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30am until service time.!/Obituary
