NAES teacher receives DonorsChoose.org grant

Tiffany Thrasher, a first grade teacher at New Albany Elementary School, is the recipient of a DonorsChoose.org grant.

Thrasher’s classroom project proposal is titled “Osmos: Taking Technology Beyond The Screen”. Four Osmos Genius Kits were provided through this grant. Each kit contains game apps and game pieces.

The Osmos Genius Kit provides hands-on games such as Tangram, Numbers, Words, Masterpiece, and Newton. The hands-on games are used for center time for skill mastery and remediation in phonics and mathematics.
