Bettie Marie Herrod Frazier, 82, died Friday, April 5, 2017, at Diversicare in Ripley, MS. She was born May 26,1936, in New Albany to Jim and Louella Ledbetter Herrod. She was a lifetime member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Cotton Plant. She was involved in women’s work in the church and also the church choir. She was an active member of the bowling league and also the youth bowling for many years. She was retired from the State of Mississippi where she worked with the WIC program.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Betsy Martin (Carl) of New Albany and Vicky Walden (Mark) of Ripley; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Curtis Lee Frazier, whom she married on March 27, 1953; 1 son: Pete Frazier; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
