Popular Biscuits & Jam Market’s fans undeterred by heat

Low humidity created comfortable conditions for those who turned out for the Biscuits and Jam Farmers Market, Saturday morning, July 22.

As always,  live entertainment was provided as people visited with one another and shopped for fresh fruits and vegetables and other goodies from a variety of local growers.

Kelley and Jesse Piñon provided the day’s sounds.

The Biscuits and Jam Market is open each Saturday morning of the summer, June 10 – August 26,  from 7:30 am to 10:30 am on the left bank of the Tallahatchie River, immediately downstream from the Bankhead St. bridge.
