Enterprise-Calvin Manning Wooten, age 69, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Baptist Memorial North Mississippi Hospital in Oxford. He was born August 6, 1948, in New Albany to John Calvin Wooten and Ara Opal Denton Wooten. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served three tours aboard the USS Brinkley Bass as a MM3. He was retired as a car dealer.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at Enterprise Cemetery with Bro. Jack McQuary officiating. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by a daughter, Heather Wooten Haynes; a son, Patrick Jon Wooten; a brother, Bill Wooten; and five grandchildren, Stormie Wooten, Stony Wooten, Symon Wooten, Trey Haynes and Wyatt Haynes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Mary Ann Morris Wooten.

Pallbearers will be Jim Bob Reaves, Ira Williams, Randy Brock, Ronnie Carter, James Stanford, Quince Stroud, Keith Coffey, Chad Coffey, and Brad Willard. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Wooten, Drew Wooten, Billy Wooten, Stony Wooten, Symon Wooten, Joe Haynes, Trey Haynes, Wyatt Haynes, and Boone Falkner.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at United Funeral Service and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. the day of the service at the funeral home.

In honor of Mr. Wooten’s service to his country, United Funeral Service will fly the U.S. Navy flag during the visitation and service. The American Legion Post #72 will honor the family at the graveside service.!/Obituary
