Eudora Welty, Museum Moments

“Serious Daring” Mississippi and Beyond, by Eudora Welty,  is the topic of the August Museum Moments on Thursday, August 17, 12 noon at the Union County Heritage Museum.

Dr. Elizabeth Crews, Ph.D., Blue Mountain College teacher and Welty Scholar and Assistant Editor of the Welty Review, will talk about the Mississippi writer’s work and life.

Museum Moments is a monthly lecture series at the museum and is free to the public, thanks to the support of Community Partners. A light lunch will be provided by Renasant Bank beginning at 11:30. The museum is located at 114 Cleveland Street in New Albany.
