James “Rambo” Province

James “Rambo” Morris Province, 54, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born January 8, 1964 in Baldwyn, MS. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. He retired due to health from the Union County Sheriff’s Department after twenty-two years of service.

Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Jerry Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Crossen Province; a daughter, Kaydence Trotnic; three sons, Jacob Skyler Koon, Camron Koon and James Lane Province; his mother, Virginia Johnson Jordan; three sisters, Melinda Jordan, Sheila Jordan and Carole Jordan Tully; and a brother, Christopher Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Terry Rumsey, Gary Gray, Tony Vandiver, Ronnie Goudy, Rodger Gardner, Daniel Crossen, Rob Anderson and Andy McGregor. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Moyer, Christopher Jordan, Stuart Tully, Austin Moyer, Dakota Crossen, Randy Sanderson, William Crossen and officers and staff of the Union County Sheriff’s Department.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5:00p.m. till 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.

In honor of Mr. Province’s service to his country, United Funeral Service will fly the U.S. Navy flag during his visitation and service.
