Male fugitive still at large UPDATED: Fugitive captured

Shortly after 8:00 PM, NAnewsweb.com was informed that Fugitive Steven Bark Clayton had been taken into custody in Lee County. Clayton apparently had assistance in escaping to Lee County, but will be held in Union County tonight.

As of 7:30 PM on Tuesday evening, March 15th, Steven Bark Clayton is still at large, having fled from the scene where he slashed a woman in Ingomar with a knife. The incident occurred at 11:30 AM today.

According to Sheriff Jimmy Edwards, law enforcement officers, using a tracking dog, have tracked the fugitive to an area east of Highway 15.

Clayton, according to law enforcement officials, is known to have a history of methamphetamine abuse.
