New Albany woman reported missing found safe

Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards confirmed that a woman reporting missing since Thursday evening has been found.

More details may be available later but April Cobb was reported last seen about 5:45 p.m. Thursday in New Albany. She was driving a 2003 white Buick Lesabre with tag number UNB 1015 and her husband and children did not know where she was, according to reports.

Unconfirmed reports said her vehicle was found abandoned Friday and a male was apparently using her debit card.

It was not clear Saturday whether any criminal activity had occurred.
