On Wednesday, November 15, first grade students from New Albany Elementary School visited the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education.  This field trip provided an opportunity for them to gain more awareness about potential careers by rotating through ten career stations.  Students also learned about the educational opportunities they will have as high school students.

Fifth Grade Career Day was held at New Albany Elementary School on Thursday, November 16.   The purpose of the event was to bring career awareness to fifth graders so that they would have a better understanding of the wide variety of careers that are available to them.  Students rotated through eight stations and heard from the following Career & Tech Instructors:  Alison Moore, Business & Marketing; April Voyles, Healthcare; Rick Robbins, Construction; Kimberly Langley, Childcare & Education; Anita Alef, Culinary Arts; Jalon Bullock, STEM; Latrina Walker, Engineering; and Bert Anderson, Agriculture.
