NAHS players receive MS All-State Tennis recognition

Morris Kelly Clayton, a freshman at New Albany high school, has been named to the all-state tennis first team. The New Albany high school tennis team won their fourth consecutive state 4A title; Morris Kelly Clayton won the state 4A girls’ singles title, finishing 14-3.

New Albany’s Christopher Shands and Trace Thompson were named to the second team all-state. They won the 4A state boys’ doubles title, defeating New Albany’s Parker Nail and Michael Crotts. Crotts was named to the honorable mention all-state team, and Parker Nail, captain of the New Albany high school team, was selected to represent the North-half of the state in the all-star tennis match in July.
