New Albany fifth grader places fifth at State Spelling Bee

Christian Fonseca, a fifth grade student at New Albany Elementary School, participated in the State Spelling Bee in Jackson, Mississippi on March 19. Fonseca placed fifth out of forty participants. He is in Kelly Keener and Jonna Rogers’ classes at NAES.
