New Albany gifted students visit Oxford in Faulkner study

The 9th and 10th grade Gifted English classes from New Albany High School visited Oxford on November 9 as part of their Faulkner novel study.

Students began the day with a visit to the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi where they learned about the many opportunities available through university honors programs.

After a walking tour of the Ole Miss campus, students enjoyed a guided tour of Rowan Oak, William Faulkner’s Oxford home.
