Polly Browning Weeden, 75, died Monday, May 13, 2019, at her residence. She was born June 8, 1943, in Union County to James and Ruby Watson Browning. She was a faithful member of Fredonia Baptist Church and was retired from Hillcraft Furniture. She was a graduate of Ingomar High School, class of 1961. She enjoyed travelling, shopping, talking on the phone, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Berry Brantley Weeden; 1 daughter: Jill Deaton (Terry); 1 son: Tim Weeden; 2 sisters: Jean Betchel (Jeff) and Kaye Johnson (Calvin); 4 grandchildren: Keri Deaton, Kaci Deaton, Heather Lindsey (Josh), and John Deaton (Miranda); and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: Sambo Browning.

Pallbearers will be Narshall Weeden, Johnny Thompson, Charles David Browning, Rickey Kidd, Herbert Kidd, and Jason Weeden.

Dr. Carl Weeden and Bro. Chris Madison will be officiating.

The family requests memorials be made to the Fredonia Baptist Church Building Fund.
