Annsley Coleman, a 3rd grade student at New Albany Elementary School, was recently recognized as a national winner in the National Garden Clubs Poetry Contest.

Coleman wrote a poem “Croaking – Leaping – Frogs” as a first grader in Tameri Dunnam’s class for the New Albany Garden Club Poetry Contest. Coleman’s poem has advanced through state and regional contests to win this award.  On May 15, New Albany Garden Club President Samantha Morris presented Coleman with a gift from the New Albany Garden Club.
