Tallahatchie River Players present “Murder at Rundown Abbey”

On March 25, 2017, the TRP will present “Murder at Rundown Abbey” by Craig Sodaro, produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Denver Colorado. The show will start at 7pm on Saturday night in the Magnolia Room. Tickets are $5, they are general admission and can be bought at the door. You may also call Evelyn at 662-317-9275 if you would like to reserve tickets. Light refreshment will be available for purchase during the show. Doors open at 6pm.

This show will be done in the 1940’s radio style with actors portraying the parts dramatically at the microphone, along with live sound effects. It is a funny show, with hilarious characters and a little murder mystery thrown in!

The character Sam Splayed and his side kick Kitty have come to jolly ole England to set up a PI business, but business has been slow. Lucky for them, but unlucky for the poor dead folks, a rich family by the name of Crumbledown start getting death threats. Soon Sam finds himself undercover working for the family and in a mess! There are snobby relations, secret romances and the poor Lord without his memories due to being kicked in the head by a horse!!

We hope you will come to this production in Historic downtown New Albany, MS in the Magnolia Civic Center!
