Ten days in the lives of Union County law enforcement officers.

Union law enforcement calls included counterfeit money, gunfire, missing persons, a stolen ATV, wrecks, domestic battles, and dog bites.

UNION COUNTY — The following reports were filed for the Jan. 1-10 period by the Union County Sheriff’s Department.

Jan. 1

–A CR 356 caller advised that a residential door motion burglar alarm had gone off. The caller later said the keyholder was en route.

–An inn manager reported someone harassing him.

–A caller advised that a mattress was lying in the middle of I-22 West near the Glenfield exit.

–An East Bankhead Street woman advised that a man had just paid her with counterfeit money. He was in an older model dark car with a handicap tag on the mirror.

–A caller advised that a black Buick on the side of the road was partially blocking Highway 178 E. about a mile east of the flea market on the south side of the road, and no one was around the vehicle.

–A caller said his daughter’s husband had assaulted her, and that he needed a deputy at the Highway 9 residence.

–A caller advised that a white Nissan was driving at a high rate of speed and passing on curves on Highway 30 East headed toward New Albany.

–A Sherman Drive caller advised that her white 2010 Nissan Rogue was missing.

–A caller advised of a white Toyota Camry in a ditch on CR 165 near Highway 30.

–Benton County 911 reported someone driving a 2015 black Kia Soul with green wheels on CR 515 shot at his girlfriend. No injuries were reported.

–A caller reported a motorcycle wreck on CR 278.

Jan. 2

–A caller reported a disabled/abandoned SUV alongside the road on Highway 355 near the Pinedale Fire Department.

–A caller reported a disturbance on North Street involving more than one person.

–A caller reported a brother and mother in a U-Haul truck arguing and throwing things on CR 46 near the Tallahatchie Bridge.

–A caller reported a male and female fighting on South Hilldale Street.

–A caller reported a small red car ran off CR 203.

–A caller advised of a two-vehicle crash in the westbound lane of I-22 near mile marker 70.

–A caller requested a deputy concerning a possible incident report at the VIP gate on Magnolia Way.

–A caller reported a truck-SUV crash on CR 122. No injuries were reported.

–A caller reported an 18-wheeler broken down at the red light at Blue Springs on Highway 9 South.

–A caller reported a two-vehicle crash at George’s.

–A caller reported a burglar alarm had been going off in a white Camry for 30 minutes at Highway 30 West.

Jan. 3

–A caller reported a disturbance in progress at an East Bankhead trailer.

–A caller reported a one-vehicle rollover with possible injuries but no entrapment on Highway 9 South.

–A caller reported a shoplifter on Highway 30 West.

–A caller reported a female wants to get some property on CR 68.

–A caller reported a white GMC SUV pumped gas at J&J and left.

–A caller reported a car in a ditch on Highway 178.

Jan. 4

–A caller reported a disabled/abandoned vehicle at CR 127-Highway 348.

–A caller reported residents causing a disturbance on CR 54.

–A caller reported an alarm call on Highway 30 East.

–A caller reported a female on CR 252 property and said she isn’t supposed to be there.

–A caller reported a little car with loud pipes going up and down CR 107. The caller thinks they stole some gas and broke into her husband’s truck and wants to make a report.

–A caller reported he had to remove two people from his home on Highway 178 West and wants an officer on the scene.

Jan. 5

–A caller reported a disturbance on CR 278.

–A caller reported a domestic disturbance on Twin Creeks.

–A caller reported a silver van all over the road on CR 183.

–A caller reported someone swinging sticks at cars on CR 216 between Highway 348 and 178.

–A caller at the Baptist ER reported a dog bite that happened at Blue Springs.

–A caller on CR 252 reported that his neighbor had fired a gun near the caller’s house.

Jan. 6

–A CR 203 resident reported that someone wearing a Carhart jacket and blue jeans was walking down the road.

–A caller reported a female came into the office and stated a blue Cobalt has been sitting in the park near the river since before Thanksgiving. She said she saw a young girl come out of the bathroom and get into the car. Caller wants police to check it out.

–A child on CR 41 said someone got robbed.

–A caller on Monroe Street reported stolen insulin.

–A resident on Hwy. 355 reported that someone has been trying to steal his 4-wheeler.

–Officers made a traffic stop on Hwy. 355.

–Officers made a traffic stop on Hwy. 30 West on ramp.

–Officers made traffic stop on CR 47/CR46.

–A caller on ER reported a dog bite.

–A Deer Woods lane resident requested a welfare check done on her son that she hasn’t heard from since August. She reported that he has brain injuries.

–A CR 32 caller asked a deputy to assist her in getting her property from the residence. She is in a white Mustang and wants to meet at West Union Grocery.

–A Lee County resident reported that her 2005 Yamaha Bruin faded green camo with a toolbox was reported stolen in Lee County. She received word from caller’s boyfriend’s coworkers that it is possibly at CR 180. Lee County deputy got information.

–A caller on Hwy 30 at Hwy. 370 N reports a two-car crash. Everyone seemed OK. Road still blocked. One subject’s wrist is hurting and chest is hurting.

–A two-vehicle wreck with injuries and entrapment was reported on West Bankhead Street.

–A Hwy. 178 W resident requested an officer to stand by while she serves an eviction notice.

–A CR 207 caller advised she had hit a deer and needs a report.

Jan. 7

–A Hwy. 348 resident reported black cows in the road.

–A Hwy. 15 N. alarm call, burglar alarm general.

–Hwy 15 N. Vo Tech Zone 19 burglar alarm.

–A Hwy. 15 S. Pilot caller reported a two car 10-50. An 18-wheeler continued going north.

–A N. Glenfield Rd. caller wants an officer to patrol the area. An employee has a violent BF that has come into the plant. Subject is a male driving a gray Chevy Impala and has threatened her front office.

–Someone from the board of supervisors called and advised a cow out on CR 205. No exact location was given to her.

–A W. St. Hwy 30 resident advised a female has called him and said a gray SUV has backed into her driveway and has just been sitting there for a while. She is home alone and is uncomfortable with them sitting there.

–A CR 100 resident called and advised that a domestic has taken place at the house down the road and a female subject has walked to his daddy’s house and needs to speak to a deputy. Husband has been abusive to her.

–A CR 101 caller advised Census Bureau in the area, white car, 1 white male in the car headed towards West Ingomar Church.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on N. Glenfield Dr.

–A Roberts Drive caller wants a deputy to come to her house because her boyfriend is abusing her and stealing her property.

–A North St. resident reported hearing multiple gunshots near his home.

–Officer reported a 2 car 1050 on Bratton Rd. Park Plz.

–A caller reported a two-vehicle wreck at Bratton Road Park Plaza.

–An alarm call from Creekmore Clinic on Oxford Road indicated a distress alarm.

–A Roberts Drive resident reported the possible location of her boyfriend.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on Hwy. 15 CR 101.

–A Hwy. 15 S. resident advised he had hit a deer.

Jan. 8

–A Wilkins Loop resident reported a boyfriend causing a disturbance.

–Officers investigated a rear door burglar alarm on Hwy 178 at Dollar General.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on Hwy. 78.

–A CR 32 resident requested a welfare check on her mother.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on Hwy. 47.

–A Hwy 355 caller needed a report.

–A CR 49 caller advised he was watching an ATV idling near his property. He claims he has had things come up missing recently.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on a bridge.

–Officers reported a traffic stop on Moss Hill/Denton.

Jan. 9

–Officers reported a traffic stop on Hwy. 15 N.

–A caller from Beacon Hills apts. wanted to speak to a deputy.

–A caller from ER requested a report.

–A CR 73 resident reported that someone has been tampering with her lights.

–A CR 64 S caller reported someone parked in the road.

–Officers reported a traffic stop at Hwy. 15 S. Subway.

Jan. 10

–Officers responded to a burglar alarm on Serenity LN.

–A caller on State Hwy. 30 E. reported a two car crash. Caller could not advise of injuries.

–A CR 88 caller advised that someone had come to her house in tears and asked her to call authorities. He needed a deputy and wanted to report someone missing. He lives across the road from her.

–Officers reported a traffic stop at S Cent 78.

–Officers conducted a welfare check at NA Middle School.

–Officers conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 15 @ Hwy 30 for a fake driveout tag.
